Copy Snooze
Copy now. Remember later.
Make a reminder
Copy text, a web link or an image. Press Ctrl+Alt+T, choose a preset or Other, then select Remind me. Ctrl+Enter saves; Escape cancels an unsaved draft. A repeated shortcut preserves the open draft.
Open your reminders
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T opens the Reminders manager without capturing the clipboard. Settings has separate New reminder and Open reminders shortcut rows; both apply immediately. These are fresh-install defaults; existing custom capture shortcuts are preserved. Duplicate or unavailable combinations keep the working shortcut.
Choose a time
Other on a reminder opens custom snoozing directly. The time field follows Windows 12/24-hour formatting. Tab through hour, minute and AM/PM when present; use Up/Down or type numbers. Click the clock button for scrolling number wheels. Each segment wraps independently without changing the date or AM/PM. Wheel choices update the draft; Snooze or Remind me saves it. Escape closes the flyout first. Selecting a preset and then Other restores your custom draft.
When it is due
The popup appears above ordinary windows without intentionally taking typing focus. Done completes it. Snooze for 10 minutes, 1 hour or another time. Links open only when clicked. Copy restores the saved content to the clipboard.
The app must be running. It does not wake a sleeping PC; missed reminders return when it next runs in an unlocked session. Exit stops reminder delivery. Closing ordinary app windows keeps the tray app running.
Settings and startup
Right-click the tray icon for New reminder, Reminders, Settings, About and Exit. Start with Windows is opt-in. If Windows disabled startup, re-enable Copy Snooze in Settings > Apps > Startup. Change a conflicting global shortcut in the app's Settings. System, Light and Dark appearance are available.
Names
Reminder numbers persist through edits, snoozes and completion. Deleted numbers are not reused. Numbering resets only after every stored reminder, including Completed, is deleted. Active, Completed and All show their counts; an empty Active filter does not mean the stored history is empty.
Upgrade from Sistam Tempus
Exit the old app first. The portable build keeps the existing SistamTempus data folder. The Store build imports a protected copy of an existing local database on first launch, leaving the source unchanged. Before moving to Store, disable startup in the older portable copy to prevent it launching again.
Back up and restore
Exit the app and copy reminders.db from the data folder; About has an Open data folder button. Restore only with the same Windows profile and protection keys. Do not assume encrypted backups can move to another PC. Keep your backups before uninstalling or resetting Windows.
Version 1.2 upgrade backups have a .csbackup extension. Restore to a NEW file with CopySnooze.exe --restore-backup "backup.csbackup" --output "C:\Recovery\reminders.db". A successful command exits with code 0 and creates a validated protected database. Exit the app, preserve the current database, then copy the recovered file into the data folder. The restore command never overwrites an existing output.
