Copy Snooze privacy policy

What the app accesses
Copy Snooze reads clipboard text, a bitmap, or supported embedded images in clipboard HTML when you invoke capture or explicitly paste. It does not keep clipboard history or monitor clipboard changes in the background. It does not fetch remote image references from copied HTML. You can edit captured content before saving.
Local storage and protection
Saved reminder text and images stay on this PC and are encrypted using Windows Data Protection for your Windows user profile. Reminder numbers, IDs, due dates, completion state and app preferences remain unencrypted so the app can schedule and list reminders. Encryption does not hide content from someone using your unlocked Windows session or viewing the reminder popup.
Migration backups created by version 1.2 are protected for the same Windows profile. Older databases and backups from 1.0–1.1 may still contain plaintext; Copy Snooze does not delete those originals. Backups are not portable to a different Windows profile or PC without access to the original protection keys.
App networking and third parties
The app does not send reminder content to the publisher, use advertising, analytics, telemetry or a cloud account. Clicking a saved web link opens your default browser; that website has its own privacy policy. Windows and Microsoft Store may separately process installation, update and diagnostic information under their own policies.
Retention and your choices
Completed reminders remain until you delete them. Delete reminders from the Reminders window. Windows maintains clipboard contents separately; deleting a reminder does not clear your clipboard. Data management and recovery instructions are in the app's Help document. Uninstalling the Store package normally removes its package-local data; legacy data, exported copies and backups outside that package may remain.
Diagnostics and support
Local errors.log records a time, exception type and error code, without reminder content or clipboard data. Nothing is automatically uploaded. If you contact support, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to answer that request. Avoid sending private clipboard content. The publisher cannot remotely access or delete reminders stored on your PC.
Support website
The support website at https://copysnooze.lt3.co.in/ uses local images and styles, with no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts or contact forms. Render hosts the website; hosting and network providers may process request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details and access times to deliver and secure the site. This website traffic is separate from the app's locally stored reminders. Email providers process support messages under their own policies.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to support, contact tim@lt3.co.in. The public policy is available at https://copysnooze.lt3.co.in/privacy.html. This policy will be updated when data practices change.
